Frequently asked questions
How much do custom wedding invitations cost?
Many factors go into figuring out the cost of wedding invitations. It depends on the number of suites, the kind of paper chosen, custom or semi-custom design options, printing methods, and more. Here is what our clients expect to spend on their invitations.
The minimum investment starts at $1,500 for 100 suites. Couples that work with me usually invest about $3,500 to $5,000 for 100 invitation suites which includes full service envelope addressing, assembly, and postage & mailing directly to your guests.
What kind of paper and printing methods do you offer?
The paper I choose for your suite depends on the printing method as well as any preference you indicate during our design consultation. I use luxe cotton paper in both standard thickness and double thick. I use both bright white and off-white paper, depending on the aesthetic of your suite. For flat printing (great for designs that have lots of colors, such as watercolor artwork) I use a bright white 110lb paper. For a one-color letterpress, I use an off-white 110lb paper. For larger invitation cards, I use 220lb double-thick cotton paper. You may mix printing methods and paper options within your invitation suite.
