As a dedicated wedding stationery designer, I understand the weight of details leading up to your big day. With this custom stationery experience, you're receiving a tangible piece of your unique love story. I'm genuinely excited to dive into the creative process with you, to learn about your style, your story, and your dreams for your big day. From the first stroke of the brush to the final printed piece, every element is crafted with passion and precision. Together, let's create an invitation that your guests will cherish.
Wedding Invitation Process
Step I: Questionnaire
Fill out the questionnaire so I can get to know you a little better and so we can begin the conversation about what you have in mind for your big day.
Step II: Proposal
Once I review your questionnaire, I will put together and send you a proposal and an initial moodboard based on your answers and comments.
Step III: Book Your Design Consultation
After you have a chance to review the proposal and design board, we will schedule a phone or video consultation to further discuss options, ideas, and to address any questions you may have.
Step IV: Onboarding
Once you decide to move forward with me, I will send you a contract and invoice for the 50% deposit so I can begin your design process and we can continue the discussion of your vision. I will also send you a timeline that will show time estimates for the following steps: Design proofs, print and production, assembly, and mailing. Once you are booked, you will have access to me throughout the process. I provide one-on-one customer service experience to answer any questions you may have along the way.
Step V: Design Phase
Once the retainer is received, I begin the design phase. I will send you a form so that we can decide on the wording of all the invitation pieces. I will explore design, color palettes, and typography that reflect the vision of your wedding aesthetic. You may expect the first design proofs within two weeks. Since it is of the utmost importance that you are happy with your invitation suite designs, I offer unlimited revisions. Usually my couples and I finalize the design within two rounds of edits.
Step VI: Print & Production
As soon as you are happy with the design and the final payment is received, it’s time for print and production. I work with my most trusted vendors to print your invitation suite and source the best quality embellishments like ribbon and wax seals.
Step VII: Assembling & Mailing
Once all pieces of the suite are in hand, white glove assembly begins. I will lovingly and meticulously put together all the suites and get them ready for mailing. I will calculate the correct postage which can vary depending on several factors such a thickness of the envelope and embellishments like a wax seal and ribbon. I will hand-deliver the stamped suites to my local post office at which point your beautiful invitations will be on their way to your guests.
Day-Of Items
When you have received your guests’ replies and have an idea of actual guest count, we begin the day-of paper designs, such as seating charts, signage, and menus. I begin the day-of items designs at least two months before your wedding.
